SUCCESS!!

After working through fundamentals, reading, pronouncing a different language, student conflicts, and general middle school drama, the Mansfeld Chorus persevered and pulled out a rating of "Excellent" from judges at the annual Arizona Choral Educator's Spring Choral Festival.

They are a very proud and talented group of students!

It's a new week!

Remember that the new week for chorus grades begins on Monday, the last day to comment is on Sunday, 6 days later.

Since we are singing a song in Latin this week, and you already know the translation, here's another bit of latin that you should know...but if not, you can research and translate it. (It is in red) You should try hard to learn the song "Da Pacem Domine" because "TEMPUS FUGIT" and before you know it, it is time for the concert.  Define what tempus fugit means and you will earn 2 points on your lowest score!  Either comment the answer or tell me.

Very Sorry!

Well, it turns out that the Pentatonix Show/workshop at Sahuaro has been canceled.  It would have been a great experience for us all, but show business red tape pretty much stopped this from happening.  Avi, a member of the group who was the former student of the Sahuaro director, is very sad that things could not have worked out...maybe sometime in the future...
